PawPlacer offers shelters the flexibility to keep their profiles and pets private or display them publicly to potential adopters. By default, all profiles start as private. Follow these steps to make your shelter and pets visible to the public:
Steps for Managing Public Profiles
1. Access Shelter Settings
- Navigate to Settings
2. Enable Public Visibility
- Toggle Visibility: Enable the toggle switch to make your shelter's profile and pets publicly visible.
- Automatic Display: Once enabled, all future pets marked as "available" will be displayed publicly. If you prefer a specific pet to remain private, go to their profile and click the eye toggle icon. This action hides them from public view while keeping them visible internally.
3. Display Requirements for Pets
- Availability: Only pets marked as "available" will appear publicly.
- Images Required: Pets must have at least one image to display publicly, though a minimum of three images is recommended for better engagement.
