Found the perfect foster match for your pets? PawPlacer makes it easy to assign pets to foster homes while tracking capacity and care history. Here's how to make these important connections.

Finding Your Foster

Start in the Fosters tab of your sidebar, where you can:

  • Use the search bar to quickly locate specific fosters
  • Browse through available foster profiles
  • Click on a foster's profile to view their details and current capacity

Making the Match

Once you're in the foster's profile, assigning pets is straightforward:

Single Pet Assignment

  1. Use the pet selector on the right side of the profile
  2. Choose your pet from the available list
  3. Set the expected fostering dates
  4. Click Assign to confirm

Multiple Pet Assignment

Need to assign several pets to the same foster? You can:

  • Select multiple pets at once using the pet selector
  • Set dates for each pet individually
  • Assign them all with a single click

PawPlacer automatically updates the foster's capacity as you make assignments.

Tracking Foster Care

Keep an eye on your foster's performance through their profile stats:
