What Are Transports?
Transports help you coordinate the movement of pets between locations, whether it's from your shelter to a foster home, between partner organizations, or to veterinary appointments. The transport system tracks drivers, vehicles, routes, and the pets being transported.
Key Features
The transport management system provides:
- Driver Management: Maintain a roster of volunteer and staff drivers
- Transport Scheduling: Plan and track individual transport services
- Route Mapping: Visualize transport routes on an interactive map
- Cost Tracking: Monitor transport costs and mileage
- Pet Assignment: Track which pets are on each transport
- Real-Time Updates: Record actual departure and arrival times
