Creating Transports

Creating a New Transport

To schedule a transport service:

1. Navigate to More → Transports
2. Click on the Transports tab
3. Click the Add Transport button
4. Fill in the transport details

Transport Information

When creating or editing a transport, you'll need to provide:

Basic Details

• Service Name (required): A descriptive name for this transport
• From (required): The pickup location (defaults to your organization address)
• To (required): The destination address
• Driver (required): Select from your active drivers
• Transport Method (required): Choose between Car or Air

Schedule Information

• Estimated Departure: When the transport is scheduled to leave
• Estimated Arrival: When the transport should arrive
• Actual Departure: Record the real departure time (after it happens)
• Actual Arrival: Record the real arrival time (after completion)

Cost and Distance

• Transport Cost: The total cost of the transport service
• Miles Covered: Distance traveled (can be calculated automatically)

To calculate distance automatically:

1. Enter both From and To locations
2. Click the calculator button next to Miles Covered
3. The system will calculate the route distance

Pets

Add pets to the transport:

1. Click the pet selector dropdown
2. Search for and select a pet
3. The pet appears below with an individual cost field
4. Enter any pet-specific transport costs
5. Click the X button to remove a pet from the transport

Each pet can have an individual transport cost, which is added to the total transport cost.

Notes

Add any additional information about the transport in the notes field, such as:

• Special handling instructions
• Contact information at pickup/dropoff
• Vehicle requirements
• Route preferences

Editing Transports

To modify an existing transport:

1. Click on any transport in the list
2. Update the necessary information
3. Click Save to apply changes

Transport Status Tracking

Transports show different information based on their status:

• Scheduled: Shows estimated departure/arrival times
• In Progress: Shows actual departure time
• Completed: Shows both actual departure and arrival times

Deleting Transports

To remove a transport:

1. Open the transport details
2. Click the Delete button
3. Confirm the deletion

This permanently removes the transport record from your system.

Mobile Experience

On mobile devices, transports are displayed as cards showing:

• Service name and route
• Driver assignment
• Schedule details
• Pet avatars
• Total cost and mileage

Tap any transport card to edit its details.
