Donor Giving History
Donor profiles include a Donations tab that summarizes the donor's giving history and lists recent donations.
Opening the Donations Tab
- Go to Donors.
- Open a donor profile.
- Click the Donations tab.
The tab appears only for donor profiles. It is not shown for other person record types.
Summary Totals
The Donations tab shows:
- Total received amount
- Pending amount
- Number of received donations
These totals include donations linked directly to the donor and donations that match the donor's email address.
Recent Donations
Each recent donation row shows:
- Amount
- Status
- Source
- Date
- Allocation, such as a wishlist item or pet sponsorship
- Public donor message, when provided
- Payment provider and payment reference, when available
This gives staff a quick view of what the donor gave, where it was allocated, and whether it has been received.
Anonymous Donations
Anonymous donations can still be tracked internally. PawPlacer stores the anonymous flag on the donation record so staff know the donor should not be displayed publicly, while still preserving the internal giving history your team needs for stewardship and reconciliation.
