Your Public Wishlist

Understanding how your wishlist appears to donors and supporters

Your Public Wishlist

Your public wishlist is a powerful tool for connecting with supporters who want to help your organization. This guide explains how your wishlist appears to the public and how donors interact with it.

Accessing Your Public Page

Your public wishlist is part of your organization's public profile:

  1. From your wishlist dashboard, click View Public Organization Page
  2. Share this link with supporters through:
    • Social media posts
    • Email newsletters
    • Your website
    • Printed materials

How Donors See Your Wishlist

When supporters visit your public organization page, they'll find your wishlist prominently displayed with:

Item Cards

Each wishlist item appears as a card showing:

  • Item name and image for easy identification
  • Quantity needed so donors know the full scope
  • Progress bar displaying how much has been donated
  • Priority badge (High, Medium, Low) to guide urgent giving
  • Category label for easy browsing
  • View Product button linking directly to the item online

Smart Organization

Items are automatically arranged to maximize donor engagement:

  • High-priority items appear first
  • Recently added items get visibility
  • Nearly-fulfilled items show progress to encourage completion
  • Fully-funded items are automatically hidden

The Donation Process

When a supporter wants to donate:

1. Selecting an Item

Donors click on any item card to see:

    • Name (required)
    • Email (required)
    • Quantity they're donating
    • Optional message to your organization
  • Confirm their pledge

Donors receive:

  • On-screen confirmation of their pledge
