On 21 September 2024, Ezra was rescued following a hit-and-run incident that left her with a big head wound. She was run over near a gas station and to the credit of the gas station attendants, the helped her and tried to stop the bleeding from her horrendous headwound. Hopefully, karma will sort out the person who ran her over and left her to die. We treated her wound with top-grade manuka honey, as it's the fastest for healing, but it's not cheap - around $200 for 1 large pot. She's really recovering well thanks to the efforts of our staff who clean her wound every two days. She's no longer confined to a cage and has made friends with the clinic dogs.
