On 27 July 2021, Jack was reported as lying by the side of the road, unmoving, for hours on end, by the time we reached Jack he was having seizures. Luckily, the fits subsided, and we treated him for dehydration and malnutrition, but one of his front legs never recovered from the accident and was dragging on the ground. We decided to amputate the leg, and Jack is now an even happier dog, moving quite comfortably on only three legs! He is a really sweet-natured boy, and enjoys his comforts in the Sanctuary. We hope he will find a similarly comfortable home soon!
