How do I edit a pet?
To edit a pet's information:
- Navigate to the pet's profile by going to the "Pets" page.
- You can either:
- Click the navigation arrows in the table row, or
- Click on the pet's row in the list and then select the arrow in the slide-out menu.
- On the pet's profile page, find the "Edit" button at the top right corner.
- Click this button to modify the pet's name, age, sex, breed, and other essential details.
- Note: Tasks and medical records are not editable from this page.
Where can I view my tasks?
You can view your tasks in the following locations:
- Tasks Page: Go to the "Tasks" page and click on the respective board to see all tasks.
- Pet Profile Page: Tasks assigned to a pet will appear on the pet's profile page.
- Dashboard: Upcoming tasks assigned to you will be displayed on the dashboard.
- Upcoming Page: View all tasks for everyone across the shelter. This table allows you to navigate through and see all upcoming tasks.
Is there a way to customize the terms and conditions for adopters?
Yes, you can customize the terms and conditions for adopters:
- Go to Settings > Adoption Terms and Conditions.
- Use the rich text editor to add or modify terms and conditions.
- These customized terms will be displayed on the adoption agreement form.
How do I add a new user to my account?
To add a new user:
- Navigate to Settings > Members.
- Select the option to add a new user.
- Provide the user's name, email address, and set their permissions and access levels.
- An invitation email will be sent to the user. When the user accepts the invitation, they will join the shelter and gain access to the system.
Why isn't my pet or shelter profile displaying publicly?
If your profile is not displaying publicly:
Shelter Profile: Ensure your shelter is set to public. Only shelters with a full address can be made public. Go to Settings to check if the address is entered correctly and if the toggle to enable public profiles is switched on.
Pet Profile: Ensure the pet has at least one image and is marked as "Available". Also, verify that the availability toggle is enabled. Try disabling and re-enabling it if necessary.
How do I update my contact information?
To update your contact information:
- Navigate to Settings > User > User Details.
- Edit your name, email address, phone number, and other contact details.
- Save your changes after updating the information.
How do I create a new task?
To create a new task:
- Go to the "Tasks" section.
- Select the option to add a task.
- Provide the task name, description, due date, and assign it to a specific user or group.
- Save the task.
Alternatively, you can create a task directly from a pet’s profile. The task will be automatically assigned to that pet and appear on the board you select during creation.
I don't see the task I created on my dashboard. Where can I find it?
If the task is missing from your dashboard:
- Go to the "Tasks" section.
- Check the list of all tasks, including those assigned to you or created by you.
- Use filters to sort tasks by status, due date, and assignee.
What is the difference between adding and scheduling a medical record?
- Adding: Records medical information for reference. Use for completed medical records.
- Scheduling: Creates a reminder for future medical events. Use for medical records that need to be scheduled in the future.

What kind of files can I add to a pet's profile?
You can add:

I can't find a feature I need in the system. How can I request a new feature?
To request a new feature:
- Submit a feature request through the Contact Form by clicking the chat bubble icon in the sidebar.
- Provide detailed information about the feature, its purpose, functionality, and benefits.
- The system administrators will review and consider adding the feature in future updates.
How do I add a schedule to my public shelter profile?
To add a schedule:
- Go to Settings > Shelter.
- Add your shelter's operating hours and save.
How do I update my name, email, or avatar in the system?
To update:
- Go to Account Settings > User.
- Update your personal information, change your email address, and upload a new avatar image.
- Save your changes.
How do I change the dashboard image or background image?
To change:
- Go to Settings > User > Background Image.
- Select the option to customize your dashboard.
- Upload a new image, choose a background color, and adjust the layout.
- Save your changes.
What is the difference between deleting and archiving a task?
- Deleting: Permanently removes the task from the system.
- Archiving: Moves the task to an archive section for future reference. Archived tasks can be retrieved but will not display on pet profiles.
