Collecting adoption fees and donations is a crucial part of running a rescue or shelter. PawPlacer makes it easy to accept a wide variety of payments and donations through the platform, and we never take a cut. This guide outlines how to manage payment methods in PawPlacer.
Steps to Add a Payment Method
1. Navigate to the 'Payment Methods' Page
Method 1:
- Click on the 'Settings' link in the sidebar.
- Select the 'Payment Methods' tab.
Method 2:
- Press ⌘ + K to open the search bar.
- Search for or type 'Change Payment Methods'.
2. Adding a New Payment Method
- Supported Methods: PawPlacer supports various payment methods, including Stripe, Venmo, Zelle, Bitcoin, Ethereum, credit cards and PayPal. PawPlacer never takes a cut.
- Add Payment Method: To add a new payment method, enter your recipient address and click 'Add'. The payment method will then appear as a QR code during the adoption payment step.
3. Updating or Removing a Payment Method
- Update a Method: To update an existing payment method, make the necessary changes and click 'Update'. Confirm the update in the modal that appears.
- Delete a Method: To remove a payment method, click 'Delete' next to the method you wish to remove. This action will eliminate it from the adoption payment step.
